About OSED.org

Open Source for Education (OSED) is a blog that I have created to share information about innovative FLOSS (Free/Libre Open Source Software) and how it can be introduced to K-12 students. I use FLOSS in many of my classes at the American School of The Hague and try to incorporate concrete examples of student achievement in my postings here as well.

I have included Open Content on this site because I believe that the distinction between “code” and “intellectual property” is vanishing rapidly. Many of my colleagues at ASH and in the international school community are exploring Open Content with me in our work with children and enjoying the (re-)education process very much.
